What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas ! Oh Hell No, it is all right here on my website !! Again I would like to Thank my friend and former co-worker Robert! This is another place I would have never seen if not for him taking me up there to check it out. We all went up there several times after my first visit. I have to tell you, there is more to Vegas than just gambling. The exhibits, shows and sights are amazing as well ! There is another place we like to visit that is a little closer to home. Laughlin, Nevada, I call it the Vegas sampler. This little town has a nice little handful of casinos to give you a sample of what waits for you in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kuya Bill’s Tip: Only gamble what you can afford to lose, don’t get the fever ! The PENNY SLOTS are my favorites ! You can play for a while, be entertained and not really lose much money. A Ten Dollar Bill goes a long way when you play with Pennys. I don’t touch the hardcore stuff, I don’t have that kind of income to toss away like that, L-O-L! Then when you are done gambling hit the strip and check out all of the themed architecture of the casinos. Each one has it’s own theme and some have awesome shows right out in front of the buildings. Treasure Island has the best street show. The Sirens of Treasure Island, this is a battle of two pirate ships in the lagoon out in front of the casino. One ship loaded with Pirate Wenches and the other loaded with Pirates. I guess this is a battle of the sexes. They put on a great show! My other favorite is The RIO ! Just off the strip is the RIO, a Caribbean themed casino. They have the Carnivale Parade in the Sky over your head. Parade floats with awesome dancers travel overhead, tossing down beaded necklaces. When you are done wrestling the one armed bandits in there, head into the RIO WORLD BUFFET ! This is the BEST in Vegas! FOODS from all over the world are served here, everytime I go to this buffet I can hardly walk up out of there from eating too much! Also, you will note all of the workers are from exotic places, look at their name badges. This shows their names and where they are from. A lot of the workers are from Island locations. There are a lot of Filipinos working at this casino. For a taste of the Old Vegas head downtown where some of the original casinos are. These are the ones seen in a lot of old shows and movies. While you are downtown, check out the Freemont Street Experience ! There really is more to Vegas than gambling away the kid’s College Fund, L-O-L !! YES! This sign is really there, L-O-L ! I had to do this, I had to have my photo taken with a few of the actors in the show at The RIO ! Yep, I am sporting the Tourist look with my camcorder hanging off my neck, L-O-L ! Yep, I totally filled up four 8MM tapes with video footage from Los Wages ! Now I use Digital, what a convenience. Now I can do my own editing and posting. JVC EVERIO is the best, nice size cam, fits in your pocket and takes awesome video and sound. Eventually when I can visit Vegas again I want to take digital video so I can post on-line.
